PROJECT REDUCTION

No matter how many times I mock the girly characteristics ‘other’ girls possess.. There is one that I am unable to let go myself.. It is my reaction to “Hey!! You have put on a lil weight” and then all hell breaks loose.. 3 ppl.. THREE ppl said so.. Trust me wearing jeans 3 sizes bigger than ur doesnt help.. So when these ppl told me that I have added some -”w..t”(I dont want to say that dreadful word!!), here I am.. doing more than my fair share of yoga (Yes!! I love Yoga.. and do it regularly). I walked on the treadmill for 40 mins.. and am also cutting down on my food intake..

Let me start with yoga.. My grandmom had went on and on abt its importance from when I was in the 8th grade and it took till 3rd yr of engg for it to sink into my head.. So during some hols I learnt the basics of yoga from a yoga teacher nearby.. I helped.. Helped a hell lot.. Pranayama cures cold.. And for someone who has had it from when she was born and that which is as eternal as the help Mother Teresa provides beauty contests..I can tell you for sure.. Pranayama does a gr8 job at curing common cold.. Then there is the very famous Surya Namaskar.. It takes care of ur entire body, makes you sweat, helps you stay in gr8 shape and does all ur internal organs good too.. What more can you ask for.. I have now started doing a whole new drill.. Courtesy: The Net.. The guy who does the drills looks awesome!!Great hair, great body, great flexibility and Oh btw.. he is this animation guy.. No matter how cool it is.. It is a tad irritatin to see an animation concort its body so effortlessly when you cant seem to torture urself even 10% of that.. I am trying hard though..

Walking on the treadmill is fun.. my friend who frequents the gym told me that I should run at speed 8 for 20 mins or walk at 5 for 40 mins.. That way I’d have an effective workout session.. So I started.. I went upto a 4 and I was panting.. At 4.5.. I would have collapsed if I hadn’t started running.. So I continued at 3.9 and walked 40 mins instead.. Feeling gr8 after my first workout session.. I called him to tell him that I couldn go beyond a 4.5 and anythin above it I had to run.. He was shocked.. Started saying all these things abt how weak I am and the like.. But on second thoughts he asked me from where my PRECOR machine was frm.. I replied US.. It so happens.. the 4.5 wasn’t 4.5 kms/hr.. But 4.5 miles/hr.. which roughly translates to 7 km/hr.. No wonder I was running and panting like a thirsty antelope.. If only I had been mad enough to try the 7 mark.. don’t think I’ll be typing this tonite..

The eating part of it.. I so dont have to eat healthy I guess.. But I have to eat a lil less than my usual and I am sure it’ll help me go a long way..Coz what I eat usually amazes the guys I go out with.. Its more than what they do.. So juices it was today.. a lil less rice and lots of water.. So if maybe I eat more like a gal and continue the above.. I will succeed in my mission “PROJECT REDUCTION!!”

p.s. Soon to follow are Aerobics class.. and this cd my aunt sent “BEACH BODY” for Tummy Trimmming..
